MACMILLAN Coffee Morning: Coffee and cake were on offer at The Four Horseshoes last Friday, when Di Cayzer held a Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Di, from Northfield Road, says: “We raised £138 on the day and had a very kind donation of £50, so our total was £188. I am delighted with the amount raised, and it was fun doing it.”
HOLLY Market: Takes place in the village Hall on Saturday, October 25, from 10am to 2pm, where there will be stalls with gifts, Hallowe’en treats, homes and interiors and refreshments.

LADIES night: There was a special ladies night at the village hall last Saturda,y when Bramley WI Lite hosted the Big Pink Party to raise funds for the charity The Pink Place.
The evening began with pink fizz on arrival and a barbecue supper. Comedian Jan Jack led the auction, there was a raffle, and also cabaret entertainment by tribute act Robbing Williams.
The evening ended with Pete Cook’s disco, and a vote of thanks for the hard work of the organising committee.
