POLICE/community surgery: The next one will take place on Monday, at 7pm, at Kempshott Village Hall. Come along and voice any concerns you may have, or just pop in and meet a member of the local policing team.
The local beat team are very keen to increase the number of Neighbourhood Watch schemes in our area. We have already got quite a few, but if you are not covered by a scheme and would like to know about setting one up you can give me a call on the above number.
I can give you details about what is involved (not too onerous) and put you in touch with Basingstoke and Deane Neighbourhood Watch Association, who deals with the paperwork involved. Here in Kempshott, we hold regular quarterly meetings for co-ordinators and try to keep members up-to-date with events.
BE AWARE: Work is due to start on increasing the number of car parking spaces on Down Grange in the next month. This work will take about 12 weeks to complete.
