BCoT news: BCoT’s part-time enrolment evening takes place on Tuesday, September 2 from 5pm-8pm. The range of subject headings is truly impressive, spanning accountancy, holistic therapies, and interior design through to warehousing and logistics. And if you can’t make it on the day, you can still call or drop into the college during normal working hours Monday to Friday.
SHOP local: As ‘back to school’ time ticks round, Brookvale Community Association is reminding everyone that you can shop with some of the UK’s major retailers and raise money for the association – just by making it your chosen organisation at easyfundraising.org.uk.
PLACE to go: Aristology Café and Makery at Proteus Creation Space, in Council Road, offers coffee, cakes and creative craft. It re-opens after the holidays on September 3. Check out their Facebook page for regular updates.
Also on at the Creation Space on September 14, from 11am to 4pm, is the Proteus Vintage Market.
