CASH boost: A big thank you to all those who gave at a recent collection outside Sainsbury’s, Tadley. We raised more than £460 for the British Polio Fellowship. This is a charity that celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, and looks after those who suffered the after effects of polio many years later. The local branch meets regularly. Ring me for more details.
CHIPMUNKS’ mother and toddler group: Meets Wednesdays, 10am-11.45am, at the community centre, in Newchurch Road. The cost is £2 for one child and an adult and 50p each additional child.
TADLEY Town Council: Meets on Monday, at 7.30pm, behind the council offices, in Franklin Avenue. All Tadley residents are welcome.
The public open forum is just after the start of the meeting, when Tadley residents can address the council.
MACMILLAN event: Are you holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning or Afternoon? Please let me know so I can include it in my column nearer the time.
WEDNESDAY afternoon tea: At St Paul’s Church Hall, on The Green, from 2.30pm, all are welcome to attend.
