OAKLEY Gardening Club: Meets on the first Monday of most months, at 7.45pm, at St Leonard’s Centre, Rectory Road.

The programme for 2014 is varied and interesting, so why not pop along and join in, you will be made most welcome.

The annual fee for the year is £10, which includes tea and biscuits, but if the subject of any talk interests you a charge is made of just £1 for a single visit (non-member).

The speaker for the next meeting will be Carol Watson who will give a talk entitled “Norway in Summer, Fjords and Flowers”.

EVENING Ramble: Whilst we can take advantage of long evenings, the Oakley Ramblers have some evening walks planned, with one next Tuesday, meeting at the school lay-by at 6.40pm. You can just turn up and join in.
