FLOWERS and cream teas: Today, tomorrow and Saturday, at St James’ Church, from 10am to 5pm. Bramley and Romans Floral Society and the church flower arrangers team will present glorious displays on the theme God’s Wonderful World. Admission by donation.

NATIONAL Women’s Register: The Bramley group will meet on Wednesday, 7.30pm, at “Two Hoots”, The Street to discuss WW2. Bring along your memories and artefacts. Call 01256 881313 for details.
OPEN Air Theatre: At The Vyne, on August 16, at 7pm, the Lord Chamberlains Men Theatre Company will present Romeo and Juliet.
Gates open at 5.45pm for you to picnic before the production. Booking 0844 2491895.
CHURCH diary: On Sunday, Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8am and again at 10.30am, both at St James’. Refreshments in Cross House following the 10.30am service.
Shell Club for the children also meets at 10.30am in the church before leaving for Cross House for activities.
