THE Summer Reading Challenge: Stating this month the challenge takes place every summer holiday. If you have children aged between four and 11, you are encouraged to get them to visit Chineham Library and sign up.
They will need to read six library books of their choice, collecting stickers and other rewards along the way – all for free.
NCT Coffee group: Looking for a place that is child-friendly and which offers a chance for you to meet and chat with other parents? Well look no further.
The National Children’s Trust (NCT) Chineham Coffee Group is for all parents and their children, and meets in a group member’s home every Thursday, 10am-noon.
A 50p donation is requested, which goes to the NCT charity.

REMINDER: If you have views on future parishing arrangements for Chineham and Taylor’s Farm, the borough’s deadline for comment is August 1.
