THANK you: To all who were involved in the Cliddesden Players’ summer play – Laugh? I Nearly Went To Miami!

Whether performing, directing facilitating or spectating, an awful lot of people are required to put on a play, and Angie Fewster alone does the job of about 17 of them!

A satisfactorily fat amount of cash was raised to go towards the maintenance of the glorious village hall (which, as I type this, is having a new sewer fitted – the sheer, unremitting glamour of the thing!).

I will confirm the amount raised when the final reckoning has been made.

The play was great fun to perform, and everyone involved hope the audience enjoyed it as much as the Players did.

Brush off your thigh boots and bring on the panto!

HORTICULTURAL Society lecture: July brings the last of this year’s Horticultural Society lectures, with Stephen Oakes bringing The World of Woodpeckers to life at the Cliddesden Village Hall.

The meeting will start at 8pm, and everyone is welcome to come along and listen.
