TEA at 3: On Sunday, Becky, Rita and Jeanette will be hosting a ‘Tea at 3’ fundraising event for St Michael’s Hospice at the Old School, Silchester Road, Bramley.
There will be lovely afternoon tea, home-made cakes for sale and stalls. Last year’s event made £1,000. All are welcome, so do come along and help to beat that total. Contact 01256 881358 for more details.
BRAMLEY Parish Council: The new clerk appointed is Maxta Thomas. Maxta has been welcomed as parish clerk/proper officer. The council will meet in the Bramley Room at the village hall at 7.30pm on Monday. All parishioners are welcome.
KNITTING for Peace: Bramley Knitting Circle will not meet this month. The next meeting will be in September. Watch this column for date and venue and keep those needles clicking.
NATIONAL Women’s Register: The Bramley branch met in June – the subject “Art Nouveau”. Research was carried out by local organiser Pat Thomson.
