HAPPY Faces Playgroup: Ended the summer term with a party for the children.

Peggy says: “Happy Faces wishes everyone a happy and safe summer. We look forward to seeing you all next September.

Good luck to our leavers who are going to ‘big school’.

“Also, many thanks to the staff and committee who work so hard to ensure the playgroup is a happy and successful group.”

LODDON Sports presentation day: On Sunday, in Sherfield School Sports Hall.

Fred Berntsen says: “The presentations are divided into three sections and this will be followed during the week by the club’s AGM. We are always looking for new members for the committee, so please, give it some thought.”

NWR: Their recent meeting was on the theme of “White”.

Members had a light-hearted quiz to start off the evening, followed by short talks on white flowers, The White Company, shared stories about personal white items and the evening finished off with a large white cake (a pavlova).
