SONGS of Praise: The organisers were happy when early heavy rain on June 29 changed to bright sunshine and a crowd of more than 100 gathered on Clift Meadow and joined in well-known hymns.

The Reverend John Lenton gave a talk and introduced the Shell Club with their songs. Tadley Concert Brass was there to lead the singing and play a piece of their own. The event ended with a rousing rendering of the Saints Go Marching In.
