ALL the fun of the fair: Is to be had this Saturday, as Whitewater School hosts its popular Summer Extravaganza in the school grounds from 11am to 2pm.
It will be everything an English fete should be, with fun-fair rides and bouncy castle, barbecue, beer and Pimms tent, craft stalls, coconut shy, fresh candy floss, and much more!
Bring your family and friends to support our young folk.
IT’S 30 years and counting: It’s the pearl anniversary for the NGS garden opening at 1 Wogsbarne Cottage this weekend, where Sue and Richard Whistler have been working hard to continue the tradition started by their parents all those years ago.
They look forward to welcoming guests to afternoon tea in their much-photographed cottage garden on Sunday and Monday, from 2pm to 5pm.
Admission is £3, children free (but leave pooches at home!) Refreshments are in aid of St Michael’s Hospice and, as the usual volunteers are unavailable this year, anyone who can spend an hour or so each day to serve up would be greatly appreciated! Call 763118 to find out more.
