PARISH council: The parish council was able to co-opt Old Basing resident David Whiter as a parish councillor at the June meeting, and he brings a wealth of experience to building and planning matters.
“RIO – Feel the Rhythm”: In other words St Mary’s Junior School summer fair this Sunday, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Craft activities, Miller’s Ark animals, bouncy castle and much more.
FAMILY Fun Day: A new venture for local Andwell Brewing Company this Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, with brewery tours, the Hook Eagle Morris Men, live music and delicious local food.
ST MARY’S news: The congregation gladly welcomed The Reverend Rachel Hartland last Sunday, as assistant curate.
A “TRADITIONAL Church Fete”: On Saturday, July 12, from 11am to 4pm, followed on Sunday by the Parish Picnic at 12.30pm in the Recreation Ground, with games for all ages.
