SINGING for their supper: The Hook Choral Society is proud to present their annual summer concert this Saturday, at the Elizabeth Hall in Hook, starting at 7pm.

The theme is ‘Summertime’ and will feature favourite songs from Hollywood to Broadway, as well as a two-course supper, a glass of Pimm’s and an after-supper coffee, all for £15!

Tickets are only available from Yvonne on 882067, as we need to know numbers to provide the vittles!

Please bring your own other drinks and glasses, as well as your friends to support the Rotherwick sopranos – light entertainment for a light evening!

THEY’RE Lowde and they’re proud: Hampshire’s premier music and beer festival will be taking place also this weekend, up the road in Hazeley Bottom at Lowde Fest 2014, featuring 11 hours of non-stop live music across two stages, over 50 real ales and ciders, international food stalls and bars, children’s zone, a fairground and loads more.

The fun starts from noon on Saturday.
