SUMMER Fayre: Rooksdown Community Association’s annual summer fayre is being held at Rooksdown Community Centre and field on Sunday, July 13, between 11am and 3pm. Why not come and try the coconut shy, beat the goalie in our penalty shoot-out or win a prize by catching a duck?

Don't worry about cooking Sunday lunch, come and enjoy our barbecue from Newlyns Farm Shop and fresh tea and cakes, etc. There will also be lots of other attractions, including stalls, fair rides, a bouncy castle, pony rides, games and arena events. So something for everyone to enjoy!

Entry is free with a free prize draw ticket on entry. Put it in your diary now and tell all your friends.

If anyone would like a stall, please contact Alison Hood, event organiser and secretary, Rooksdown Community Association, on 07919 418 551 or

Stop press: RAF Odiham has confirmed that a static Chinook will be present for all to explore.
