ANNUAL art exhibition: The village hall will be hosting the annual art exhibition, featuring work produced in Mary Thomas’s art classes.
These classes are extremely well attended, and Mary is an extraordinary and gifted teacher. I’m always astounded by the level of general talent on show. If you’d like to get along and see for yourselves, the exhibition is this coming Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm. Some work is offered for sale.
SHOW time: A little ahead of time but tickets are selling like hot cakes already, The Cliddesden Players summer play, “Laugh? I Nearly Went To Miami!” is on at the village hall on Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19.
Tickets are £8.50 adults, and £5 under-16s. Curtain up at 8pm, both nights.
Saturday’s performance will be preceded by the ever-popular barbecue.
Tickets for this can be purchased for a paltry £3. Contact Angie on 475848.
