SUMMER Fair: The Kempshott Schools’ Summer Fair takes place this Saturday, between 1pm and 4pm on the school field. Lots of shows, local dance troops, Cubs and police dog show to name but a few.
Why not support the local schools and visit this popular summer event? All proceeds go towards providing additional facilities/ equipment for the benefit of the children at the two schools.
COFFEE time: The regular Kancare Coffee Club, which takes place every Friday morning, at St Mark’s Church, in Homesteads Road, serves tea/coffee and home-made cakes from 10am. Anyone who is unable to get there can call Kancare on 01256 474147 to arrange transport.
VOLUNTEERS needed: If you have some spare time, please consider becoming a volunteer with Kancare. It is not a regular commitment.
Volunteers assist our residents with transport to medical appointments, doing shopping for those who are unable to get out and about or just popping in for a chat with the lonely or housebound. For more information, or to become a volunteer, please call 01256 474147.
