SUNFLOWERS for the hospice: On June 1, St Michael’s Fete started at 11.30am, with chaplain Liz Lang taking a short service in the labyrinth garden, where wooden sunflowers donated in memory by relatives and friends had been planted. She likened the petals to all the volunteers working there.

Those gathered then made their way to the many stalls in the grounds. Crafts, paintings, cakes, tombola and teddies were there on the lovely sunny afternoon.
