AMAZING demonstration: Elegant, stylish summer food was the order of the day last Saturday, when nearly 20 members of Ellisfield Ladies Club enjoyed a demonstration by Sarah and Jayne.
Delicious appetisers or finger food were enjoyed while they continued to demonstrate tasty lunch dishes and fabulous puddings including an amazing Strawberry Elizabeth.
Quite how we managed to walk out of the Memorial Hall, I shall never know. Thanks to Sarah and Jayne for a great day and to the committee and others, who laid tables, washed dishes etc.
COUNTRYSIDE Days for Schools: Is an event that each year brings Hampshire schoolchildren to Farleigh to experience rural life. Last Thursday, 150 pupils enjoyed a great day experiencing activities that included cheesemaking at the dairy, bee-keeping, a tour of Farleigh House gardens and a vegetable quiz.
