FRIENDS of Oakley and Overton Surgery: Have their AGM next Wednesday, at 8pm, at St Leonard’s Centre. Dr Nicola Decker will be giving a talk about “a positive approach to dementia and frailty”.
CALLING the ladies: Monday, at 1.45pm, Oakley Afternoon WI is holding its meeting at St Leonard’s Centre. This month they have a vegetable carving demonstration.

ARE your children ‘Frozen’ mad? Do they play the soundtrack so often that you know all of the words yourself? Well here’s an idea to get them focused. A Celebration of Oakley’s Talent invites all (pre-teen) children to join us for a sing-along ‘Let It Go’ performance.
During the afternoon event, which is part of the 2014 Basingstoke Festival, your children will be invited to grace the stage with lots of other children and sing their socks off to a backing track in their favourite fancy dress. The event is being held on July 5, at Andover Road Village Hall, from 2pm to 4pm.
