PLAY reading: The Loddon Players will be reading ‘Play On’, which is a comedy by Rick Abbot, on Monday, at 7.30pm in Breach Lane Chapel.
Gill says: “We always welcome new members and would love to see anyone who is interested. Play On is a very funny play with a big cast: seven women and three men.”
NWR: Held their annual evening ramble last week. It was a circular three-mile walk around Rotherwick, finishing up at the Coach and Horses for a pub meal and a welcome pint.
After days of intermittent showers, the evening was warm and sunny and enjoyed by all who took part.
ANNUAL fete: Takes place this Saturday, at 12.15pm on the green. The Royal British Legion Corps of Drums will be performing, and there is a falconry display, horse display, dancing and races, as well as the usual favourites: dog show, classic vehicles, children’s entertainment and games, and the various stands and stalls.
Refreshments include a beer tent, barbecue, hog roast, teas and cakes, candyfloss and ice-cream. Do go along and take part.
