PET Service: Christ Church, Ramsdell, is holding a pet service on Sunday, at 9.30am. All pets are welcome.
FLOWER Festival: St Stephen’s Church is holding a flower festival in July and is looking for donations of prizes for the tombola (Rosalind Adams on 981 5246) sponsorship for arrangements (Margaret Bushell on 981 2787) and cakes for the cake stall (Rowena Hensman on 981 3528). BARN Dance: Wolverton Village Hall is holding a Barn Dance for Midsummer’s Day, on June 21, at 7pm. There will be a live band and a caller. Tickets £15, includes supper.
There will be a bar and a raffle. Donations for the raffle are very welcome, as all the proceeds will be for the village hall. Space is restricted, so tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. Contact Frances Langley 01635 297125 or email langleyfrances@hotmail.com.
DONKEY Derby: Burnham Copse Primary School is holding a donkey derby on Sunday, from noon to 4pm. There will also be a funfair, barbecue, refreshments, bar, tombola, raffle, cake stall and craft stalls.
