PICNIC in the Park: This Saturday, from 2pm to 5pm, there’s going to be a Picnic in the Park, at Pamber Park, off Burney Bit, to commemorate the anniversary of the D-Day landings. Pamber Parish Council invites all parishioners from the Pambers and Little London to come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun reminiscing about that time.

Don’t forget, even if you weren’t born then, your parents and grandparents were so they’ve got memories too. There’s a prize for the most authentic picnic, live music, family activities and presentations by local youth groups. The Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane will open the event and light the beacon after the picnic has concluded.

PAMBER Heath Summer Fete: Is being held on Saturday, June 28, from 1pm to 4pm at Pamber Heath Memorial (village) Hall.

Attractions include go-karts, a giant bouncy castle, waggiest tail competition (bring your dogs), arts and crafts competition, refreshments, kids games, magician, craft stalls and loads more. All profits will go towards the hall funds.
