INDOOR Car Boot Sale: Is being held at the community centre from 10am to noon on Saturday. There is a 20p entrance fee. All are welcome.

FILM screening: Also on Saturday, The Railway Man is being shown at the community centre. Doors open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7pm. The cost is £4.50 for members and £5.50 for non-members.

SUMMER Fete: St Mary’s Church, Newchurch Road, is holding a Summer Fete and Mini Show on Saturday, from 11am to 3pm.

Lunches will be available. Can you guess the number of balloons in the vicar’s car? There will also be a children’s disco from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

DON’T forget: The very popular Donkey Derby and Summer Fair will be taking place at Burnham Copse Primary School on Sunday, from noon to 4pm, with racing scheduled to start at 1pm. The day promises to be filled with fun and entertainment for all including arena displays, fun fair rides, craft stalls, a raffle and refreshments.

BURNHAM Copse WI: Meets on Tuesday, at the Diamond Scout Hut, Southdown Road, at 2.30pm. Visitors welcome.
