A GREAT May Fair: Was held at the school last weekend, with loads of new activities – everything from reptiles to Morris dancers – and great fun all round.
The cash is being counted as I type, but updates will be issued. Thank you to all who organised and attended – the school is able to organise so many extra activities and special learning experiences for the children due to your continued support.
VILLAGE events: This weekend, St Leonard’s has Holy Communion (book of common prayer) on Saturday, at 6pm, and the village hall hosts the family-oriented Messy Church on Sunday, from 4.30pm to 6pm.
HORTICULTURAL Society meeting: Wednesday, it’s Ellisfield’s turn to host the Horticultural Society’s meeting, from 7.30pm. Peter Chivers will give a talk entitled “Easy to Grow Plants for Greenhouse and Conservatory”.
HALF-TERM: With half-term looming, don’t forget the brand spanking new pottery studio in the village shop. An ideal opportunity to paint a Father’s Day present.
NEWS and events: Give me a ring on the number above with all the details.
