SOUTH Ham Fun Day: Congratulations to Westside Community Association for organising a highly successful fun day last Saturday at Aldworth School. Many residents attended and enjoyed the attractions and sunny weather.
HOWARD Park Bowls Club: Is holding an open day on Sunday, June 1, from 2.30pm at the Russell Howard Park Bowls Green.
Anyone who would like to come along and either watch or take part in some bowling are most welcome. Refreshments will be available.
RACE Night: The ever-popular race night returns to Westside Community Centre on Saturday, June 7, from 7.30pm to 11.30pm.
Tickets cost £7 for members and £8 non-members. The price includes a fish and chips supper. Contact Nicky on 464571.
SOUTH Ham’s Youth Centre: The youth centre, in Russell Howard Pavilion, is open every Wednesday and Friday, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The centre is for eight to 19-year-olds and provides an opportunity for activities and to make friends.
QUIT Smoking Clinic: The NHS quit4life stop smoking clinics run at Westside Community Centre on Mondays, from 9am to 10.30am, and Wednesdays, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
