TRAVELLER defences: New barriers have been erected as part of some planned defences for the land just off the chicane on Woodbury Road. The plan is to protect the site, on the footpath to St Mark’s School from further incursion by travellers.

MAMA Mia!: There will be a coach trip from Hatch Warren Community Centre to see Mama Mia! on Thursday, July 3.

ELECTION Day: Next Thursday, May 22, is polling day for both local and European elections.

The polling stations for our area will be in the community centre, in Hatch Warren, and the portable building at the shops, in Beggarwood.

Polling is open from 7am until 10pm.
