SILCHESTER Players: Present Stepping Out a comedy by Richard Harris. Final performances are taking place today and tomorrow. Doors open at 7pm and curtain up at 7.30pm. Tickets £8, concessions £6, from 0118 9815600.
JUMBLE and Plant Sale: Will be held in the Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, from 10am. Jumble may be taken to the hall today, between 6pm and 7pm.
GARDEN open: West Silchester Hall Garden will be open on May 25/26 from 2pm to 6pm, where paintings will be on display and teas available.
Entry costs £3.50, children get in free.
Plenty of plants also for sale, and dogs on leads are allowed.
CREAM Teas: The Methodist Church will be serving cream teas throughout June, every Sunday, from 3pm.
PHOENIX Club: Were entertained by Silchester School Choir and various musicians, and had a very happy afternoon.
SILCHESTER Fete: Is taking place on the playing field from noon on Saturday, June 21. Many stalls and entertainment, including a hawk display. Rumour has it that a bride, whose wedding is that same afternoon, will pay a visit!
