TABLE-TOP Sale: The Scout group will be holding a table-top sale on Saturday, between 10.30am and 12.30pm, at the Scout and Guide Centre at St John’s Piece.
Please come along and support the Scouts as they raise funds towards troop events, as well as individuals raising funds to go to the World Scout Jamboree in Japan and jamboree in Holland next year.
AUSTERITY Lunch: To help raise funds for Christian Aid, you are welcome to join villagers for a modest lunch of bread and cheese at the chapel by the pond at 12.30pm on Sunday, donating the cost of your usual Sunday lunch to Christian Aid.
EVENING Ramble: Evening walks are returning with Oakley Ramblers on Tuesday, meeting at the school lay-by at 6.40pm for a prompt 6.45pm start.
