THANK you: To everyone who helped or took part in the Sports Weekend on April 26/27. The Fun Run, in particular, was a real success and the first in the village for many years.

SIR George Young: Attended the Annual Parish Council meeting yesterday, at at the junior school. Everyone in the community was welcome to attend and find out about the activities of the parish council, ask questions and give their thoughts and ideas.

WOOD sale: At St John’s Copse, Saturday, between 10am and 1pm, selling peasticks, kindling and other products, you can also use this as a chance to explore the copse.

FOX Family Fun: Bank Holiday Monday is a family fun day to celebrate Buddy and Kate being at The Fox Pub for a year, with music and activities for the children from noon.
