DOING papa proud: The Hook Choral Society will be performing Haydn’s ‘Maria Theresa Mass’ at their annual spring concert on Saturday, at 7.30pm, in St John’s Church, Hook, alongside one of the great choral works of the 20th century, Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna.

Tickets are £12, £10 concessions, with accompanied children under-11 free, and are available from Trees Newsagents, or by ringing 882067.

Catch the Rotherwick sopranos hitting the high notes!

TOO darn hot: The West End musicals come to Rotherwick at Tylney Hall on Sunday, at 4pm.

Enjoy a drinks reception, champagne and canapés during the interval and a four-course dinner in the Oak Room Restaurant with wine, coffee and petit fours, following the performance.

For further information, please ring Maria Brampton on 745533.

ON YER bike: If you are interested in having either your bike or your children’s bikes security tagged, contact Alan Saunders, of Neighbourhood Watch for South and East Hook, on alan.hooknhw@gmail.com. With enough support, we can make a bulk purchase of the electronic tags which can then be sold on for about £7.
