BLUEBELLS: Are emerging and once again creating a beautiful scented carpet in local woods where all the usual footpaths allow easy access – don’t miss them!
SPECIAL access to footpaths off the beaten track through Portsmouth Estates: Is to be allowed for one day only on Monday, May 5, to raise money for local churches; St Andrew’s, Farleigh, and St Martin’s, Ellisfield.
Leaving Home Farm Barn car park, Farleigh, between 10am and 11am, following a circular route, there will be a scavenger hunt for children and refreshments halfway and on return. More details next week.
HAVE your say: TAG Farnborough Airport has submitted an Airspace Change Proposal to the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Published maps show that Ellisfield and Farleigh appear to be at the edge of the areas where planes may fly below 4,000 feet/above 4,000 feet. There is currently a consultation and you may leave your comments at www.consultation.tagfarnborough.com.
