KNIT for Peace: At their meeting on March 27, the Bramley Knitters decided to link with Knit for Peace, which matches knitters with good causes. Any knitting is accepted and the output keeps people warm. The knitting is distributed at home and abroad.
The Bramley group were busy – Gillie working on a rugby-style jumper, Pat on a red crochet blanket, and Avril and Phyl on jumpers for three-year-olds. Edna gave her report and, at tea time, all enjoyed lovely carrot cake. Thanks to Gillie, the hostess.
