BRAMLEY and Romans Floral Society: Met on March 6 in Sherfield Village Hall. The demonstration “A Load of Old Tate” by Mrs Cheri Mendis gave members an interesting view of the galleries with the sculptures in wood around which exotic flowers of protea and orchids were arranged.

For Tate Modern in a silver ring Cheri put deep red roses and liatris and the Tate St Ives like a lobster pot with gerberas.

Apples featured large in the next arrangement and orchids in the finale.

Cheri was thanked for her exciting exhibits.
