LADIES Club AGM: At Monday’s meeting, all committee members were re-elected and we heard a summary of last year’s events and finances before discussions turned to planning this year’s programme.
The first event of the new programme will be a ladies darts match at The Farleigh Club on Thursday, April 24, starting at 7.30pm. The cost is £3 for members and £3.50 for non-members, to include a ploughman’s supper, drinks can be purchased from the bar.
PARISH council meeting: Monday, 7.30pm, at Ellisfield Memorial Hall. Ellisfield residents welcome and, as always, there is an opportunity to ask questions at the beginning and end of the meeting.
ELLISFIELD Village Association AGM: Memorial Hall, Wednesday, at 7.30pm. All are welcome to hear Dee Haas, EVA’s Chair, talk about the work undertaken by the association in the last year and its hopes for future projects. Light bites and wine will be available after the meeting.
HORTICULTURAL Society meeting: Cliddesden Millennium Hall on Thursday, March 27, at 7.45pm. A talk from Paul Bowers, entitled “The National Parks of the USA”.
