NEW homes bid: An application for 57 dwellings at Kempshott Park Industrial Estate, Longwood Copse Lane, in Beggarwood, comes before the borough council's development control committee on Wednesday, March 12.
The application is for 48 houses and nine apartments along with associated amenities, green space and parking. The meeting is open to the public and starts at 6.30pm at the Civic Offices, in London Road, Basingstoke.
WORLD Book Day: Local schools will be celebrating World Book Day today, with various events and many children dressing up as characters from their favourite books.
PLEASE take care: Hatch Warren Infant School is reminding parents to be careful around the school when parking, especially at school drop-off and pick-up times.
Drivers are asked not to use the car park entrance as a turning area as children cross here and this creates a danger for them. They also request that parents/carers take care when parking near the school so as not to block residents’ driveways and access.
