USE it or lose it: Our mobile library service is under threat once again! Further budget cuts means the monthly Rotherwick stop is likely to be scrapped as we cannot muster at least 10 regular customers. There will be a three-month consultation on the closure proposals so if you have any comments, please send them to library.customer comments@hants.gov.uk by May 2. You can take up to 30 items out from the mobile van, including films and CDs which can be reserved online, and there are no late fees for standard borrowings. The next visit is this Saturday, outside Whitewater School between 12.30pm and 1pm – so please use our service while we still have it!

SPRING is sprung!: If you are still looking through seed catalogues by your fire and your green fingers are feeling itchy, check out hookallotments.com to find out more about our local allotment association just up the road. Hook Allotment Association is currently putting together a waiting list for plots, so if you are interested in putting your name down, they’ll be happy to help.
