CLIDDESDEN WI: Met yesterday, when Mr Tanner gave a talk entitled Fabulous Fabrics. The competition was Your Favourite Scarf or Shawl.
I hear that membership of the WI has increased in the last year from eight to 39 – well done, ladies! New members are always welcome.
WI Jumble Sale: If you’re spring-cleaning, start putting aside your jumble for the grand annual WI jumble sale on March 23 – details to follow.
CHILDREN’S theatre: On Saturday, in association with Hog The Limelight, the village hall will play host to Hand To Mouth’s family puppet show, The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse, from 2pm. We need more ticket sales for this to break even, so please contact Angie on 475848 or Annie on 474656. Tickets £5, and HTM always puts on a super-entertaining show.
MESSY Church: On Sunday, Messy Church takes place at the village hall from 4.30pm-6pm.
