CHINEHAM

Basingstoke Gazette: Fiona Biermann Fiona Biermann

THE borough council’s Streetcare team: Has been having increasing difficulties keeping on top of overflowing litterbins.

One of the reasons is said to be that the bins are now being used as a supplement to household wheelie bins. We have been asked to remind residents that the bins are just for general litter and not household waste.

CHINEHAM Village Club: This Saturday there is a Music Quiz from 8pm. Maximum of six per team. Entry is £1 per head.

CHINEHAM Library: The next ChiPPs session (reading group for parents) is next Wednesday, at 10am. Pop into the library for information on books that the group will be reading.

DON’T forget: Chineham Village Hall management committee member nomination forms must be received by next Monday. For more information see the February Chat.

AND finally: Greening Chineham is offering residents the chance to have a member come and visit their house with a thermal imaging camera to assess where heat is being lost. Email greeningchineham@hotmail.co.uk.
