SILCHESTER Players: Would like to thank all those who supported their recent pantomime, it has been a fantastic couple of weekends.

ROMAN talk: Professor Fulford will speak today, in the village hall, with news of findings at the summer dig.

Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and children £1. It’s 7.40pm for an 8pm start.

PANCAKE Evening: The Methodist Church gives advance notice of a Pancake Evening which is taking place on March 4, from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Please do come along and join us for fun, food and fellowship.

VILLAGE hall needs help: The building work is progressing well, but like all things these days, more money is needed.

Any donation, great or small is very welcomed for those special finishing touches.

VILLAGE Market: Takes place on Saturday, March 1, from 10am to noon, where there will be all the usual stalls and lots of fresh foods available.
