GET active: Sunday morning brings two opportunities to get out in the fresh air. The Ramblers will be setting off for a walk from the school lay-by at 9.15am, and for the super fit, mud-loving members of the community, the Oakley Pedalars will also be setting off on an offroad ride from the lay-by at 9.30am.
SPORTS weekend: The second Oakley Sports Weekend planning evening is being held at St Leonard’s Centre at 7.30pm on Tuesday.
Anyone who would like to be involved as a volunteer or in running an event, which takes place the weekend of April 26 and 27, is welcome to come along.
LADIES’ night out: There is the choice of two! On Tuesday, February 11, Oakley and Deane WI, and Oakley Ladies, both meet at 7.30pm.
The WI meet at Andover Road Village Hall, and details for the ladies can be found on the OCA website or in The Link.
QUIZ time: The Fox is hosting another popular music quiz next Wednesday, at 8pm.
