THESE boots were made for walking – or failing that, comfortable shoes! Get gently fit this spring by joining in our local Hart Health Walk Monday mornings, starting from St John’s in Hook at 10.30am.
Each walk lasts about 50 minutes and is led by a trained walk leader. Adults of all ages and fitness levels are welcome, and no specialist walking gear is needed.
If you can’t face Mondays there’s another walk in Hartley Wintney on Fridays, leaving from Rosefield Court at 11am.
Soon you’ll be striding out from Rotherwick just to join in (once the footpaths are less muddy!).
LADS and ladies who lunch: The Rotherwick Lunch Club meets on the first Thursday of every month, alternating an informal meal in friendly company between our two local hostelries.
Next month's meeting at the Falcon is pencilled in for March 6.
Contact parish council chairman, David Dibbin, on 764518 for more information and to give an idea of catering numbers, or just turn up!
