BRAMLEY and Romans Floral Society: Will be meeting on February 6, in Sherfield Village Hall from 1.30pm to 4pm beginning with the annual meeting.
This will be a fairly short affair as all of the committee have agreed to stand again. The society will therefore go ahead under the chairmanship of Joyce Rawlinson.
The rest of the afternoon will be taken over by a demonstration of making our own Valentine Roses. The double crepe paper and other materials needed will be supplied free. Free tea and cakes will also be on offer.
The society will continue to meet at Sherfield Village Hall on the first Thursday of the month. Visitors are welcome. Please contact Eileen 881125 for details of membership.
HELP the hospice: Now is the time to sign up to help St Michael’s with fundraising events for 2014. You could join me at one of the collections at Asda, Sainsbury’s or Morrisons stores. There is a choice of date from February 24 to December 6. Contact Tracy on 848848.
