THE Gardening Club: Is meeting on Monday, at 7.45pm, at St Leonard’s Centre.
New members will be warmly welcomed.
The competition this month is a photograph of Oakley at Christmas, and given the weather this year it will be an interesting challenge!
ST LEONARD’S Centre: Hosts a wide range of events throughout the week, including University of the Third Age courses, mother and toddler groups and exercise classes.
Some activities are weekly and others monthly.
They have a website which has a summary of what is on each week.
THE library bus: Is at Kennet Way on Monday, from 1.30pm to 4pm.
It is a short walk across the road to Meon Road shops, where we have Annie’s Charity Shop, which has a wide range of clothes, toys, books and crockery at excellent value. A good afternoon out.
