PARISH council: The next meeting is on Wednesday, at 7.30pm, in the Pavilion Committee Room. Elections will be held in May so you might want to attend a meeting and see how local parish business is conducted. The chairman is Cllr Keith Nuttall, who can be contacted via the parish office on 01256 462847, Mondays to Thursdays, 10am-noon.
CARNIVAL Senior Citizens’ Party: If you haven’t returned your acceptance form (from January’s Basinga) to Sandie, at 16B Pyotts Hill, by today, you’ll miss out on all the fun on February 15. This year’s carnival is on Saturday, June 21, with the theme of cartoon characters.
JUMBLE Sale: This Saturday, at 2pm in the village hall, and there’s still time to leave saleable stuff in the porch foyer. Sorters are requested to attend from 10am and sellers at 1.45pm.
