ALI Baba: The Silchester Players pantomime continues February 1, 7 and 8 in the village hall, with a matinee on Saturday. Curtain up 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

PHOENIX Club: Meets on Wednesday, in the Club Room at 2pm, with The Reverend Canon Ken Batt giving a light-hearted talk on the “Life of a Parish Priest”.
ROMAN Talk: Professor Fulford will speak on February 14, in the village hall, with news of findings at the summer dig. Tickets £3 adults and children £1, 7.40pm for 8pm start.
This may be the last year of a “Silchester dig”.
