BRAMLEY Lunch Club changes: At their meeting on January 8, there was a surprise announcement when chairman Judy Woolford explained to members that there would be a new venue for the club.
Meetings will now be held at Cross House next to St James’ Church. The club will also change to meeting each month on the second Thursday instead of Wednesday. This is suitable for most members.
The club has grown recently, and there are more kitchen and other facilities available at Cross House. The next meeting will be from 10.30am to 2pm on Thursday, February 13. Contact Pat on 01256 882441.
KNITTING Circle: Our busy knitting group will meet at Bramley Green Road at the home of member, Dusty, at 2.30pm on January 28. All are welcome. There is ample wool, needles and pattern also available. Contact 01256 881420.
CHURCH services: There is a new pattern of services due to the retirement of priest-in-charge Reverend Bob Politt. On Sunday, there will be Holy Communion at 9am in Little London, and a family service 10.30am at St James’.
