CLIDDESDEN WI: Met last night at the village hall, where there was a bring-and-share supper, with games and a quiz. The competition was entitled “Favourite Christmas Decoration”.

UPCOMING events: January 30, at Cliddesden Village Hall, the Horticultural Society’s first lecture of 2014 will begin at 7.45pm.
The subject is entitled “Vegetables for Beginners”, but the talk promises to hold plenty of information for the more experienced vegetable gardener, too.
On February 22, Hand To Mouth Puppet Theatre presents The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse at 2.30pm. Further details and tickets from Angie (475848) or Annie (474656).
The village hall’s AGM will take place at – no surprise – the village hall on Tuesday, March 26, at 8pm.
