HAPPY New Year to all! As we start 2014, let’s look back at 2013 and some of the main events: January had the barn dance and Old Time Music Hall.
In March, there was a Yoga Workshop, jazz evening and many Easter celebrations. Loddon Quilters had their show in April, and Steel Magnolias was performed by Loddon Players in May.
The Reading Pipe Band were among the attractions on the Green at the fete in June and the lovely walled garden at The Coach House was open in July.
Sherfield Show, a traditional village event took place at the end of August and another regular event, the Beer Festival, was in September.
There was a 1960s/’70s disco in October, Remembrance Service in November, and a jazz evening and the year ended with a festive Christmas Tree Festival at St Leonard’s.
LODDON Players: Will be reading “Confusions” by Alan Ayckbourn on Monday, January 6 at 7.30pm in Breach Lane Chapel, and all are welcome.
