BROOKVALE Community Association: Is encouraging local residents to find out if they can switch and save on their energy bills via Switch Hampshire. This is a safe council-backed collective energy switching scheme in which energy suppliers bid against each other to offer the lowest tariff. Registration is open until February 17. LOOKING for a Christmas gift with a difference?: The Butterfly Fx photo booth is open at The Willis Museum at 10am on Saturday. It uses green screen special effects to photograph participants in the museum’s current Lego exhibition, and also offers memento key rings or fridge magnets.
OPEN evening: BCoT has another of its regular open evenings coming up on January 27 from 6pm to 8pm.
NEW year – new interest?: Local conservation group Friends of Loddon Vale Parks is shrub pruning in Victory Park on Sunday, February 9, at 2pm – take gloves and secateurs and meet at the playground.
